The story takes place in a prestigious private school. The protagonist, Yuuma Shinonome, is the son of the school's chairman and also the student council president. Because the school has been run by the Shinonome family for generations, he is seen as "unapproachable" and has no close friends. The only special person in his life is Reina Sakuramiya. She attends also the prestigious school and is the daughter of a wealthy family, but she is often ridiculed as a "nouveau riche" and the subject of gossip. As a result, she doesn't try to get close to anyone and is an outcast at the school. She is also seen as a troublemaker, but despite their apparent animosity, she and Yuuma seem to understand each other in some way. In fact, Reina is beginning to be attracted to Yuuma, who "persistently pays attention to her". Meanwhile, Yuuma's father and the school's chairman, Tokuma Shinonome, outwardly presents himself as a mild-mannered person, but behind the scenes, he builds his power by arranging sex services for businesspeople and celebrities. One day, Tokuma, who disapproves of Yuuma and Reina's relationship, warns Yuuma, but this escalates into an argument, creating an even deeper rift between father and son. And in order to teach his insolent son what "reality" is, Tokuma chooses Reina as the next candidate for the school prostitute.
