The novel follows Osamu Sakai, whose childhood friend Harei Saiki is missing. As a ping-pong ace, Harei was trying to pay back her father's 80 million yen debt by entering an underworld ping-pong competition where rich men gamble on players who wear gothic lolita outfits.
